Interested in becoming a Surveyor for the ACHS?

Suitably qualified professionals who meet the selection criteria may apply to become an ACHS Surveyor. Successful ACHS Surveyor applicants are then invited to attend a three-day Surveyor Workshop & Induction program in our Sydney office.  Applicants suitbalility as a surveyor is continually assessed during the Induction. On successful completion of the Induction and a Training Survey, Surveyors are initially appointed for a period of two years.

The process for surveyor applications involves several regular intakes per year, to enable specific areas of need to be targeted.  We advertise on the ACHS website and in health journals and request applications to be sent in at that time.

The ACHS Surveyor role is primarily a volunteer role. The majority of ACHS Surveyors volunteer their time in agreement with their employer to provide valuable assistance to the Australian Health Service Industry.

The next intake in 2012 will take place in our Sydney office on Wednesday 17 October to Friday 19 October 2012. All suitably qualified applicants will be considered, however there does remain a focus on recruiting medical clinicians, due to the increased clinical focus of the EQuIP5 Standards.

October 2012 applications will close on Monday 20th August, 2012
