ACHS International is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS).  Programs and services are built on the substantial foundations of the parent company.

 

ACHSI's entry into the international arena resulted from continuing and substantial requests.

 

Since ACHSI was established in July 2005 it has quickly developed a strong market identity with customers in the Middle East, India and Hong Kong.

 

The preferred approach is to be flexible and responsive to local cultural and program requirements.

 

ACHS, including its subsidiary ACHSI, has been accredited by the ISQua International Accreditation Program since 1997.

 

The Chief Executive of ACHSI is currently the Chairman of ISQua’s International Accreditation Federation Council.

More than thirty years experience in the development of standards, supporting organisations in the development of their quality framework and in assessing organisational performance against evidence based and internationally recognised standards.

 

Fully accredited organisations in the Middle East and India, where its partner organisation Quality Healthcare Australia P/L has played a pivotal role in delivering successful organisational development programs for organisations wishing to improve performance and achieve accreditation.

 

Australian surveyors, who are industry peer experts, participate in ongoing professional development programs, are valued internationally.  For more than twenty years these peer experts have been surveying in New Zealand and in recent years a surveyor exchange program has been established with the Republic of Ireland.

 

A clinical performance indicator program acknowledged as being among the world leaders.  ACHSI has expertise in the development of both indicators and comparative reporting services.  The latter point includes access to strategic performance analysis (SPA) reports to assist strategic and business planning for groups of hospitals and corporations.

 

An active research and evaluation program, conducted through ACHS that ensures its systems are improved and remain evidence based.
