Other products and services that are offered by ACHS include:

Education Programs - provides a range of education services to its members, surveyors, consumers and staff. ACHS offers an ongoing calendar of workshops which cover many aspects of health quality management; also offered are customised on-site workshops for up to 25 staff, these can be tailored to cover interest areas which are determined in consultation with the individual organisations.

Consultancy Services - ACHS offers a wide range of consultancy services, including both Standards Accreditation Support Advisories and General Health Consultancies addressing matters such as:

  • A high-level consultancy against the NSQHS or EQuIPNational Standards,
  • A detailed gap analysis against the NSQHS Standards,
  • A planning session for a new organisation
  • A review of directional signage issues in a new build
  • To advise following an Advanced Completion (AC) recommendation
  • Working with organisation to develop a new risk management system
  • Formulating vision and strategy
  • Corporate and clinical governance systems and processes
  • Commercial acceptance of new infrastructure requiring compliance with recognised safety and quality standards for health services
  • Policy development.

Clinical Indicator Program - ACHS offers the world's only dedicated Clinical Indicator data collection and reporting service. With over 700 participating healthcare organisations, this is a premium resource developed by Australian and New Zealand clinicians.

Standards Development - ACHS develops special projects in partnership with other key healthcare bodies and provides consultation services to standards-setting and accreditation organisations internally.
