ACHS is accredited by The International Society for Quality in Health Care External Evaluation Association (IEEA)* to their International Accreditation Programme (IAP) set of three peer review assessment healthcare programs.
The IEEA provides third-party external evaluation services to health and social care external evaluation organisations and standards developing bodies around the globe.
ACHS is currently accredited by IEEA to the following IAP programs:
- Accreditation of External Evaluation Organisations (ACHS accredited Dec 2017 - 2021)
- Accreditation of Health and Social Care Standards (ACHS EQuIP standards accredited or recognised under this program)
- Accreditation of Surveyor Training Programmes (ACHS accredited from May 2020 - 2024)
The IAP is the only international program that accredits the accreditors.
ACHS’s Current Accreditation Status
ACHS’s most recent ISQua (now IEEA) assessment was held between 20-24 November 2017 and we were successful in maintaining our accreditation for another four years.
ACHS achieved an outstanding result in the ISQua IAP, according to the surveyors. Only two formal recommendations were made in their assessment of ACHS against the International Standards for External Evaluation Organisations, 4th Edition.
ACHS’s Involvement with ISQua
ACHS has also been involved with the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) since its inception in the mid-1980s and is proud of its record of achievements in consistently holding full-accreditation by an external body.
ACHS has been an Institutional Member of ISQua since 1997, too.
