Thank you for your feedback and we are also calling for volunteers. Find out more here
Development of EQuIP7Following suggestions for some changes to the EQuIP program, ACHS have developed EQuIP7 in a modular program that will consist of a set of core standards used by every EQuIP member, plus a Module containing elements specific to the healthcare service. This format will result in a more tailored program, with content applicable for individual healthcare services.
Thank you to all who provided feedback to our recent consultation survey. We have been delighted with the support given to date to this vital project to ensure we capture the latest information to create the most current Standards possible.
The Core EQuIP7 Standards are almost complete and we are now calling for volunteers to participate in working groups to provide expert advice on the content of the EQuIP7 Modules and to review drafts of Standards as they are developed.
We are now commencing development of the Hospital Module, which will be followed by development of other EQuIP7 Modules including day procedure centres, oral health, dialysis centres, aged care services and primary health care.
It is anticipated that Working Group members’ workload will be around eight hours per month for each Module. The end result will be a set of current standards reflecting best practice and drawing on key supporting evidence.
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to be a member of any of the Working Groups
