EQuIP6 Healthcare Support Services

EQuIP6 Healthcare Support Services is a four-year continuous quality assessment and improvement accreditation program for organisations that do not directly deliver clinical care, to ensure that there are systems and processes to monitor and improve the quality of the services provided.

The arrangement of elements under graded ratings that reflect increasing maturity of quality improvement activity has been designed to assist and support health care organisations and health services in their quality improvement efforts. 

EQuIP Healthcare Support Services is the only quality improvement program in Australia specifically developed for organisations that provide support services to supplement or assist health care, including, but not limited to:

  • labour outsourcing organisations
  • training providers
  • community services
  • telehealth services
  • housekeeping services
  • professional associations and peak bodies providing support etc. for specific conditions.

EQuIP6 Healthcare Support Services, developed in consultation with the healthcare industry, provides a solid framework for establishing and maintaining quality customer services and improving performance.

The EQuIP6 Healthcare Support Services program is an amalgamation of EQuIP5 Corporate Health Services and EQuIP5 Corporate Member Services, as these programs no longer met the needs of our customers.
