Job title: Manager, Cyber Security
Full-time position
Role location: Office in Ultimo, NSW + Hybrid working arrangement


As a Cyber Security Manager, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding ACHS’s digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive information.  Your responsibilities include proactively develop, manage, monitor and maintain various aspects of cyber security, including risk management, policy enforcement and technical implementation.  

Qualifications & experience

  1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  2. Experience with Microsoft Azure in a commercial setting
  3. Experience with Microsoft Active Directory management (Azure and on-premise)
  4. Familiarity with Cyber Security tools and practices (e.g. forensics)
  5. Deep understanding of networking and protocols
  6. Experience with Essential Eight
  7. Effective written and oral communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders 
  8. Proven track record and experience in developing information security policies and procedures.
  9. Cyber Security certifications would be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:           

  1. Shaping and executing the Cyber Security strategy for ACHS
  2. Management and maturing of the information security governance structure for ACHS, through the development and implementation of security policies
  3. Provide guidance, insights, and direction on technological advancements and cyber security best practices
  4. Collaborate with business units to align Cyber Security efforts with business goals
  5. Provide support to staff in addressing Cyber Security concerns

Key Tasks:

  1. Lead and manage the information security governance structure for ACHS
  2. Proactively develop, lead, manage and monitor the ACHS Essential Eight Action Plan
  3. Develop a cyber incident response plan for ACHS that is regularly tested and updated
  4. Develop and conduct a rigorous cyber incident response training and testing program that stimulates crisis conditions
  5. Lead and manage the ACHS Cyber Security Awareness training and testing for ACHS staff
  6. Providing regular reporting on the status of Cyber Security to the relevant Executive Governance forums
