ACHS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT AWARDS 2008
The ACHS QI Awards are an annual recognition of achievement open to all EQuIP member organisations which have developed an innovative system or project that improves quality and safety. The QI Awards are an effective way for EQuIP members to share evidenced quality improvement initiatives and provide inspiration for better practice.
Extensive achievement may be demonstrated through a number of the following ways:

External or international benchmarking and subsequent improvement in local systems

Research that relates to a particular area

Implementation of innovative and advanced systems
-
Excellence and leadership outcomes in patient care or service delivery.
For 2008, the ACHS Quality Improvement Awards will recognise three categories of innovation and achievement:

Clinical Excellence and Patient Safety
-
Non-Clinical Service Delivery
-
Healthcare Performance Indicators
