New Member Masterclass Announced: Unlocking the Potential of Virtual Care

Hear from Mr Ben Chiarella, Operations Manager for Western NSW Health Virtual Rural Generalist Service at this free Member event.

In our upcoming complimentary Member Masterclass with the ACHS Improvement Academy (IA) Director, Associate Professor Bernie Harrison will be in conversation with Mr Ben Chiarella on the topic of Unlocking the Potential of Virtual Care.

While not a new concept, the provision of virtual care has grown over recent years, and we are starting to see it being integrated into more aspects of healthcare. Virtual care is rapidly evolving alongside technological advancements. It paves the way for new possibilities in care facilitation and addressing system challenges such as healthcare accessibility and workforce capacity.

The objectives of this workshop will show health reform in action by:

  • Demonstrating patient-centred care

  • Identifying workforce opportunities

  • Gaining insight into outcomes to patients

  • Demonstrating benefits through hospital avoidance

  • Demonstrating improved and timely access to care

Healthcare professionals from ACHS Member organisations are highly encouraged to join this session where you will have the opportunity to participate in live discussions and Q&A.
