ACHS attends ACHSM Asia Pacific Annual Congress in Perth

The ACHSM congress is a health leadership congress that brings together leaders and decision-makers in Australiasia.

ACHS received a great reception at the 2022 ACHSM Asia Pacific Annual Congress held on 21-23 September at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Western Australia. The ACHSM Congress is a health leadership congress that brings together leaders and decision-makers in Australiasia.

ACHS CEO, Dr Karen Luxford and Customer Service Manager, Caroline Archer had the chance to connect with many colleagues and Members at the ACHS booth.

Our Improvement Academy Director, Bernie Harrison facilitated a successful workshop alongside Anthony Lock, Executive Director Clinical Performance & Systems, St John (Ambulance) WA. They gave an insightful presentation on developing skills to lead change and innovation in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

The team would also like to congratulate Karen and Bernie for being conferred as a Fellows of the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM) during a ceremony at the congress, after having been awarded fellowship before the pandemic in 2019.

During the Congress, we announced the winner of our prize draw, Ms Kellie Noffke. Our lucky winner received a free virtual training registration to the Improvement Academy’s Root Cause Analysis course that took place in late November.

Thank you to ACHSM for organising this Congress and we look forward again to participating in next years’s Congress on 11-12 Oct 2023 in Canberra, ACT.
