ACHS Customer Services team received positive feedback after holding an Accreditation Session on NSQHS Standards Second Edition at the Southern NSW LHD.
Our ACHS Customer Service team recently facilitated a successful site visit with long time member, Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD). SNSWLHD provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services along with community-based health services for about 200,000 residents and additional visitors in the Southeast of NSW. The district is continuing to improve the quality and access to health services, including continued development of capital upgrades, extension of population health activities and community engagement.
The organisation has been a valued member with ACHS since 2009 and it was great to connect with them face-to-face. Our Customer Services Director, Therese Cooke and Customer Services Manager, Mona Ramsay travelled down to Queanbeyan to hold an Accreditation Information Session with staff at the SNSWLHD.
The purpose of the session was to help SNSWLHD staff better understand the guidelines and requirements for the NSQHS Standards Second Edition. Our ACHS team hosted a successful session with approximately 50 staff to explain the advisories and standards for the current Short Notice Assessment Program.
