IHI-BMJ International Forum Call for Speakers

Are you keen to be part of a movement to ignite change across healthcare networks on a global scale? Make your mark in global healthcare quality improvement by submitting your proposal at the IHI-BMJ International Forum 2023 in Melbourne.

Are you interested to share your work with an audience that has the power to make a real difference?

Submit your speaker proposal for the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare, happening on 30 October - 1 November 2023 in Melbourne.

There are seven NEW topics you can submit to and proposals are open until 15 March 2023.

The theme for the conference this year will be People powered change - a healthier life, a fairer system, a sustainable future and it will focus on showing how transforming healthcare is only possible when everyone comes together to power change.

Your speaker proposal can showcase an innovative improvement project, run an interactive workshop or inspire a new way of thinking.

Applications from across the healthcare sector and beyond, including clinicians, non-clinicians, consumers and carers, voluntary/social sector employees, students and first-time presenters, are welcome.

The IHI-BMJ have a strong preference for content that:

  • Is co-designed with or lead by consumers/patients
  • Illustrates strategies facilitating interdependent approaches for achieving improvement within and across settings and systems
  • Contains new and fresh ideas that have the potential to change the status quo
  • Has a robust evidence base with reliable results
Submissions close Wednesday 15 March 2023.
