We have made changes to Metrik based on the feedback from our members during the previous submission.
We have incorporated changes to the analytics dashboard and to the reports so far, with changes to the data input section coming soon.
The changes so far to the dashboard include:
- colouration updates to make it easier to differentiate between the greens and reds (also to help with colourblind customers)
- improving all the labelling, so that each indicator is now individually labelled with the name, no longer requiring a legend
- the addition of extra data such as numerator, denominator, confidence intervals (low and high) and expected number of events to the tables and updated labelling of the number of organisations
- creation of a button to switch on or off the anonymised data (all the data spread from the indicator) for the box and whiskers plots
- mixing some of the functionality of the “Current Indicators / All indicators” button
- adding the desirable rate to the control chart and updating the dashboard so that it now loads faster.
For the hard copy reports, the update saw:
- the legend page removed and the heatmap expanded to accommodate 20 indicators per set
- all indicators individually labelled
- the table spread over two pages, so the distribution information is separate from the outlier / aggregate rate information
- the outlier field in the table coloured the same as the heatmap.
Most of the changes coming to the Metrik software itself are ease of use changes, but we are looking into print on demand functionality for the reports which is why deployment has taken a bit longer. These changes will be published prior to the next data submission.
