New clinical indicator set – Ambulance Health Services

We are pleased to announce that the first clinical indicators for Ambulance Health Services have been endorsed by the Council of Ambulance Authorities (CAA) and the ACHS Board.

The set is ready for data collection in the second half of 2024 and for data submission in February 2025. We thank members for their feedback on this set and the multi-disciplinary and cross-sectorial working party for their work formulating the clinical indicators. These clinical indicators, like all ACHS indicators, are voluntary for ambulance health services and are designed to promote data collection to improve patient outcomes.  The indicators focus on key patient-centred clinical areas including patient assessment, transition of care and pressure injury and falls assessment. They are designed to complement existing guidelines and standards within the ambulance health service sector.
