New cohort of Assessors are welcomed

ACHS are pleased to return to face-to-face Assessor Forums around the country, welcoming new assessors, celebrating milestones and learning new skills.

ACHS is delighted to welcome new Assessors who have trained with us this year. Our Director, Assessor Division Darlene Hennessy presented to our new and current Assessors recently at our Assessors Forum – the first face to face Forum held since the start of the pandemic. We received positive comments from the Assessors on the Forum such as “one of the best training days ever!” and “very informative and interactive”.  In addition to providing important updates and education, our Assessor Forums, which are held across Australia throughout the year, are a great opportunity for Assessors to network, hear feedback from our Members as well as share ideas and experiences.

We would like to acknowledge all our newest Assessors this year who have been undertaking their trainee assessments and meeting the rest of the Assessor Team at the Assessor Forums. We are thrilled to welcome them and appreciate the important skills they bring to supporting our Members and continuing to ensure that there is a high-quality standard of health services across Australia. We also acknowledge current and retiring Assessors, and greatly appreciate their contributions. Thank you to all our Assessors this year for their flexibility and understanding as our Member organisations adjust back to on site assessments.

We thank all assessors for their ongoing support to our members and look forward to working with you in 2023.
