Celebrating Innovation and Impact

Entries now open for QI Awards 2025.

Each year, the ACHS Quality Improvement (QI) Awards celebrate the remarkable achievements of healthcare organisations leading the way in improving care, safety, and outcomes for consumers. These prestigious awards are designed to both recognise and encourage excellence in quality improvement programs, strategies, and initiatives that have been successfully implemented across the healthcare system.

We are excited to announce that entries for the QI Awards 2025 are now open.

Supporting the Movement for Sustainable Healthcare

This year, we are proud to reflect the growing commitment to environmentally responsible healthcare by expanding our non-clinical category to become the ‘Sustainable Healthcare and Service Delivery Award’.

This updated category not only recognises innovation in non-clinical settings, but also champions projects that demonstrate sustainable care strategies, supporting both the health of our communities and the planet.

If your organisation has implemented a project that delivered measurable improvements in patient care, sustainability, service delivery, or performance measurement, we invite you to share your success by submitting an entry.

Award Categories:

Clinical Excellence and Patient Safety
This category celebrates innovation and excellence in delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care. Entries should highlight demonstrated improvements in clinical practice that have led to safer, higher quality outcomes for patients.

Sustainable Healthcare and Service Delivery
Formerly the ‘Non-Clinical Service Delivery’ category, this award recognises impactful projects that enhance environmental sustainability, consumer services, or organisation-wide practices. This includes initiatives in community care, allied health, and non-clinical departments making a difference.

Healthcare Measurement
This category shines a spotlight on data-driven improvement. We’re looking for entries that show how performance measurement was used to guide action, leading to measurable improvements in patient care and organisational performance.
